How to ask SILICON better questions

SILICON's assistant answers from the app's own live analysis, so the more specific the question, the more of that analysis it brings in. A few habits make a big difference.

In short: name the instrument, the timeframe and the decision you're trying to make. "Should I buy gold?" gets a general answer. "Gold, 1H: is there a long worth taking before New York, and where's the stop?" gets a plan.

Five habits that work

  1. Name the instrument and the clock. "EUR/USD on the 15-minute" beats "the euro".
  2. Ask for a decision, not an opinion. "Is this a place to add?" or "What would invalidate this long?" gives you something to act on.
  3. Ask from the page you're on. The assistant knows what's on screen. On the levels page, "which of these matters most today?" is a complete question.
  4. Ask about risk before reward. "What's the event risk for GBP this week?" saves more money than "where's the target?"
  5. Follow up. "Why that level and not the one above?" It will show its working.

Questions to copy

Planning

  • "What's driving USD/JPY today, and which side does the day lean to?"
  • "Give me the first level each side of EUR/USD and how reliable each has been."
  • "Which currency is strongest this week, and what's the best pair to express it?"

News

  • "What's on the calendar for USD in the next 8 hours, and what could it do to gold?"
  • "Did this morning's CPI follow through on EUR/USD, or is it fading?"

Reviewing

  • "I'm long GBP/USD from here with a stop there. What would make you get out?"
  • "How have today's Daily Setups done so far?"

What it won't do

It won't place trades and it won't promise outcomes. If you ask for something it can't see, a level on an instrument it hasn't loaded or a number that hasn't been released yet, it tells you rather than inventing one. That's the point: an answer you can check is worth more than a confident guess.

FAQ

Does the assistant see live market data?

Yes. It reads SILICON's own live analysis, the same levels, strength, calendar and setups you see in the app, before it answers.

Will it make up a level if it doesn't know?

It's built not to. When it doesn't have the data for something, it says so instead of guessing.

Can I ask about the page I'm on?

Yes. Open the assistant on any page and it knows what's on that screen, so 'what does this mean?' works.
