How to use Daily Setups (and read the record)

Daily Setups is the desk's shortlist: the few trades worth watching today, with entry, stop and target, and a record that's scored by price, not by opinion.

In short: each card is a complete plan: pair, side, entry, stop, target and reward. The status says what the desk is doing with it. The outcome says what price did after it was posted. The header shows the running record, and every card has a Share button for X.

Reading a card

  • The plan: entry, stop and target, plus the reward in R (how many times the risk the target pays).
  • The status: Watching (on the list, not ready), Waiting (an order is resting at the entry), In (in the trade) or Invalid (the setup broke; don't take it).
  • The outcome: scored automatically from price since the setup was posted: not filled yet, filled and running, hit target, stopped, ran without filling, or expired unfilled.

Why the record is worth trusting

Most published "track records" are a highlight reel. This one has rules instead of habits:

  1. The clock starts when the setup is posted. A setup posted after it already ran isn't a call.
  2. Outcomes come from price, not from the desk. If a single candle touched both the entry and the stop, it counts as a loss.
  3. Losses stay. Once a setup has filled, it can't be removed.
  4. No win rate on a tiny sample. The record shows hits, stops and net R, and only quotes a win rate once there are enough finished trades for it to mean something.

Sharing a setup

Tap Share on any card. Image for X makes a clean card with the plan and opens your phone's share sheet (or saves the image on desktop). Copy post text gives you the plan as a ready-to-paste post. At the end of the week, Share results under the list makes a recap card with every finished setup and the net result.

FAQ

Are Daily Setups signals?

They are the setups the desk is following, with a full plan. You decide whether to take them and how much to risk. Nothing is placed for you.

How is the record scored?

Every published setup is scored by price from the moment it was posted. Hitting the target books the plan's reward; a stop books a one-unit loss. Setups that never fill are shown but carry no result.

Can a losing setup be deleted?

No. Once a setup has filled it stays on the record. It can be marked invalid, but it can't be removed, so the record can't be cleaned up after the fact.
