Trading signals vs. a trading co-pilot: which actually helps?

Signal groups are everywhere, and most traders have tried one. The question isn't whether signals can make money. It's whether you get better, and whether you can check the record.

Short answer: signals can work for a while, but you learn nothing, and you're trusting a record you usually can't check. A co-pilot shows you the read and the reasoning, so every trade, win or lose, teaches you something. The best of both is a co-pilot that also publishes setups with an honest, checkable record.

How to judge any track record

  1. Is every call on it? Including the losers and the ones that never filled.
  2. Is it scored from when the call was posted? Not from a better price found afterwards.
  3. Can losers be deleted? If they can, assume they have been.
  4. Is the sample big enough? Ten winners in a row is luck as often as skill.

How SILICON handles it

SILICON is a co-pilot first: it does the analysis and explains it. The desk also posts a short list of setups each day, as full plans. Each one is scored by price from the moment it's posted, losses can't be removed once a setup has filled, and the record only quotes a win rate once there are enough finished trades for it to mean something. You get the convenience of a shortlist without having to take anyone's word for the results.

FAQ

Are trading signals a scam?

Not all of them, but many show only winners. A signal service is only as good as a record that includes every call, losses included, scored from when it was posted.

Is SILICON a signal service?

No. It's a co-pilot: it does the analysis and explains it, and the desk publishes a shortlist of setups with a public record. You decide what to trade.

Can I copy SILICON's Daily Setups?

You can follow them, but they're published as plans with the reasoning visible, so you can learn the pattern rather than just copying it.
